At DLG, our designs are inspired by you, the client, and the vision of our team. We have a designer with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture that works directly with you in creating your landscaping dreams. The design process starts with an on-site consultation with DLG. After discussing your ideas and goals, two design concepts are designed for your review. The two options allow different visions for the client to consider. A meeting will be required at this stage to discuss the concepts and the final masterplan. The masterplan will be a color design including general hardscape and softscape areas as well as suggested location, size, and quantity of trees, shrubs, perennials, groundcovers, and bulbs. Issues such as drainage and lighting will also be addressed in the masterplan. After the design is in place, then it is time to build your ideal landscape.
DLG believes that completing the design process gives you a visual guide to achieve your landscape goals. Having a design in place increases efficiency and reduces the amount of rework and cost that typically results from not having a plan when construction starts. We believe it is important for our designers to be on site at important milestones of construction to ensure that the design intent is not lost through construction.
